What Supplements To Take On The Keto Diet
Keto and Supplements.
As a professional athlete I was never a fan of taking crazy amounts of supplements, due to not knowing if what I was taking was actually safe.
From what I have learned over years, is not all supplements can be beneficial or even safe. There is a lot of unnecessary ingredients that do more harm to your body than good.
And some that flat out do not work!
The US supplement industry as of 2012 brought in $32 billion dollars in revenue, and is estimated to reach $60 billion by 2021 according to the Nutritional Business Journal.
There is a whole lot of money being made out there and everyone is trying to come up with the next best “magic pill” or “miracle powder” to get in on the profits. Problem with this is, majority of these products are NOT designed with your overall health in mind.
“Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food”
On the other hand, there are supplement companies that DO care about the overall health of the consumer and aim to produce safe and effective products that people can benefit from.
Do your research!
The best health and fitness results I have ever achieved was through an all-natural, whole food, and organic diet, such as a keto or paleo approach combined with the use of a couple high quality supplements.

For me personally, my overall health is #1 over any kind of gimmicky “get ripped quick” or “muscle building” magic pill!
I don’t trust that crap!! Nor should you.
Everything our body needs for optimal health, comes from the earth.
As a former professional athlete, I only recommend finding the HIGHEST QUALITY, ORGANIC, NON-GMO products.
You do get what you pay for.
Don’t go cheap! What you put in your body on a day to day basis will determine your quality of health from here on out.

Note: Always remember to be vigilant and make sure you’re checking ingredients on labels. It’s too often that you will find hidden carbs in products that seem keto friendly.
